Paso a Paso – Our path with heart and attitude

For us, Paso a Paso is much more than just a boutique. It's a dream come true, a bold new beginning, and living proof that anything is possible—if you're willing to listen to your heart and take the leap into the unknown.

We are Lisa and Cristian Maidana. In 2024, we turned our entire lives around. Out of secure jobs, into the adventure of self-realization. No safety net, no safety net. No retail training, no certifications, no guarantees – but instead a big vision, a clear attitude, and a love of detail that is evident in every corner of our boutique today.

I still remember our first trip to the dealership very clearly. The store was still under construction, and we set off in a rented van, not knowing what to expect. Cris asked, "Honey, do you even know what we're buying? And how much? How do we do it?" And I just said, "I don't know. We'll just do it."

Today we look back on a whole universe of experiences: magical encounters, tears of relief and gratitude, creative flights of fancy, minor setbacks—and a success we never would have expected.

Our store concept has been a hit. The Paso-a-Paso vibe has long been known beyond Wiesbaden. People come from all over the Rhine-Main area to enter our world—a world of calm, clarity, and inspiring difference.

Less. More real. Us.

We believe that true home happiness comes not from quantity, but from choice. Our motto is therefore quite deliberately: "Please don't buy so much. Not even from us." Many of our customers no longer feel comfortable in their homes – without knowing why. In 90% of cases, it's simply too much. Too many things, too many impressions, too many attempts to fit everything in and leave nothing out.

That's why we often begin our interior design consultations with the opposite of buying: decluttering, creating clarity, and emptying spaces. What remains is space for true well-being. For peace. For meaning. When our clients have tears in their eyes at the end of their project because they can breathe a sigh of relief for the first time in years, we know: that's exactly why we do it.

We don't just sell furniture or accessories. We create atmosphere. We design spaces that slow down. And we demonstrate how cozy minimalism works – without appearing cold or empty. What we do doesn't have a fixed name. But it has an impact. And it's 100% us.
