Vinothek-Umbau im Paso a Paso-Stil: Natur, Handwerk und echte Atmosphäre

Wine shop conversion in Paso a Paso style: nature, craftsmanship and authentic atmosphere

There are spaces that carry history within them – and yet deserve a fresh start. With this wine shop, we implemented just that: a before-and-after project that reimagines the space from the ground up. A rather austere space has been transformed into a place that exudes character and simultaneously conveys a sense of lightness and authenticity.

The transformation began with the walls. A fresh coat of paint in warm, natural tones now forms the base. We added decorative beams , which immediately add depth to the room and create a handcrafted, almost Mediterranean feel. This combination of clear structure and natural feel is evident throughout the entire project.

A central element is the custom-made bench made of micro-concrete . Its robust, minimalist, yet inviting appearance. Its simple form leaves room for accessories such as cushions and blankets, while the material immediately conveys modernity and durability. Directly opposite: the counter , built and clad in natural stone. This reflects our love of genuine materials – every surface, every edge bears the hallmark of craftsmanship and authenticity.

The heart of the design is the lighting . Our straw lamps float above the large tables : handmade, organic, and they cast that warm, characteristic play of light that one immediately associates with Ibiza and Bali. Above the counter, small concrete spotlights complement the atmosphere – precise, unobtrusive, and high-quality. Together, they create a play of expansiveness and focus that enlivens the space without overwhelming it.

When selecting the furniture and decor, we deliberately opted for simplicity. Few, yet clear pieces: natural materials, timeless shapes, and warm textures. This leaves the focus free for what matters most—the encounter, the glass of wine, the conversation. At the same time, you can sense in every detail that quality and value are paramount.

The result: a wine bar that not only impresses visually but also creates a unique atmosphere. A space that invites you to linger, that feels modern without being cold, and that captures the Paso a Paso lifestyle: minimalist, natural, and relaxed.

Anyone planning their own project will find inspiration in this before-and-after example: straw lamps for warm lightness, micro-concrete for clean lines, natural stone for real depth, decorative beams for character . It's all about letting materials speak for themselves and consciously working with light and texture.

We've transformed a simple wine shop into a vibrant space that combines the best of two worlds: the authenticity of genuine materials and the clarity of a modern, sophisticated design.
